hello Vince, have been trying to leave a message for a bit, substack seems arduous for an old guy. I did leave a message a few days ago but it seems to have gotten lost in the web somewhere.
I attended Woodmen Valley for many years and The Road at Chapel Hills for a couple years. Now I attend Academy Christian Church here in the Springs.
I’d like to hear you teach sometime on what I call “the cost of unbelief”. I have written personal letters to all of my family and friends who are not Christ followers or do not think they need Jesus. In my letter I explain as best I can what ignoring God’s call will mean for them when they die. I think I’ve done a pretty good job but would welcome your thoughts.
Praying Romans 15:13 over you and your family, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Thank you for sharing hope through your ministry—Merry Christmas my friend!
Vince, 감사합니다! 예수님 생일 축하합니다! This is not how you might say Merry Christmas, but in Korean, I came up with this variation which translates to Jesus(님) (highly respected) birthday. (생일) congratulations! It’s how they say “Happy Birthday”, but I realized that it’s particularly relevant for Jesus’s birth. 새해 복 많이 받으세요!
Hi Vince - Thanks for the message on the Magi. I hope you and Cindy have a joyful Christmas also!
Tim
